Description

MDA =3-4-Methylenedioxy-amphetamine,AKA the "hug-drug", is a psychoactive chemical which is found in plants such as:nutmeg, sassafras, saffron and calamus among others. It was first synthesized by G. Manish and W. Jacobson in 1910. It's psychedelics properties were discovered by Gordon Alles who also discovered the amphetamines.

Effects

Most people prefer the synthetic form of MDA. This is because the plants have other chemicals that can make a person sick (this happens with Mescaline and LSD).

Effects regularly start 20 to 60 minutes after ingestion and last about 12 hours.

Dose

For the Calamus,chewing up to two inches of the root can cause minor euphoria. Some have chewed up to 10 inches and have agreed that it cause an LSD-like effect

Most users feel the mental effects from ground nutmeg with a 20 gram dose[Psychedelics Encyclopedia p.292]

Some people have taken from 100mg to 200mg and haven't had any (or many)bad effects. Even thought, is recommended to start with a small dose and increase it a little each day (not the same day).
